When you don't have a butt to hold your pants up you need an elastic belt as they are much more comfortable than a plain leather belt. This one is made well and very comfortable.

But I was pleasantly surprised that it is big enough and I like the fact that you don’t have to search for a “hole” to secure the belt. You can secure it anywhere on the braided web.
